i dont buy too many video games for my PC, but i went out on a limb and bought 'the elder scrolls 3: morrowind'. ($60! wtf! burn and return, muhaha) anyone else have it? what are your impressions of it? thanks in advance...

I have it for my X-box and I think its great. I was never into EverQuest, so I like that I don't have to compete to gain levels and need groups of players to play and that I can stop playing whenever I damn please.

Also, the open endedness of the game is phenomenal. There is a main quest, but you can choose to follow it or not. And even the main quest encourages you to go do your own thing and come back later.

So anyway, yeah I like it. My girlfriend hates it though, cause it take me away from her all the time now.

I love Morrowind! It's all I play now, and it's probably the most unique RPG I've ever played. I'm always astounded by how much you can do in that game.
