Where is my big bowl of popcorn, i think this one is going into overtime.

And to stay on topic , I have much respect just turning 16 to be able to have people I dont even know to turn to and ask questions about my car that others wouldnt be able to answer. What you have done shows your true imaturity(sp) and disrepect for your elders.

Im not a person who automatically gives respect to people just because theyre an adult, they have to earn it. You get what you give, if you give it, expect to get it back. My motto is "when someone stoops, stoop lower", but enough of this, I know what I am, Im mature, and I give respect to those who DESERVE it, Im not saying that you guys dont deserve it, but I know that whatever you think of me, I think the same way about you, you guys think I'm immature and disrespectful, and that's what I think about you, so I guess you could say that we're even. OK? Enough. Like I said, FORGIVE AND FORGET, I made a mistake, so sue me. It'd not as if you haven't made mistakes in your life.

So, you want us to forgive and forget, yet you make no apologies and never will. That's pretty arrogant. As you also stated, people have to earn your respect, well I'm here to tell you that you also have to earn other peoples respect and clearly by most of your posts you have failed to do that.

This is an equal opportunity board and if you come in with a good attitude and are respectful, you will receive the same from others. Your attitude has been less than kind and respectful at times and now you are reaping the benefits.

Earlier you clearly posted your thoughts about how Lance runs this site after he deleted a topic he felt was inappropriate and because of that people easily read into this post that it was meant to take at hit at how Lance runs these boards. Now, that may not be what you intended, but your history does count for something. I think that you will find that people are a lot nicer if you refrain from posting things that can be read into as condescending, like this post.

Heh heh, this is almost too easy.

Why? Because you tell me to? It doesn't work that way.

An apology is a prerequisite for "forgive and forget".

I'm staying, and if you don't like me, that's just something I'll have to live with.
Yes, and you'll live with it just like about every post in this topic.

But when I post something, whether it be that I need help with something, or that I found something cool about the car, or Im just replying to someone else's post, don't be an ass.
You mean, don't follow your example?

I am a person just like everyone else here. Im back, I'm done. I'm not saying anything more about Lance.
Well, an apology is still in order. Then you can commence your silence on Lance.

I'm starting a new begining. like I said, forgive and forget. But I'm not leaving. This site is great, it has alot of cool information, and is really helpful. But as I'm seeing tonight, the people on it aren't very kind.
You can count yourself in that statement. Are you looking for my sympathy?

With age, you will learn two things: 1) Not everyone is so easy to forgive and forget. 2) You actually have to earn people's forgiveness.

And I don't give respect to 15 year olds who haven't earned it, especially ones that act like you did.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Mature? Doubtful. If you are so mature, you would know that you haven't been here long enough to determine who deserves respect.

Im not saying that you guys dont deserve it ...
I'm here to say that you don't deserve it, that's for sure.

but I know that whatever you think of me, I think the same way about you, you guys think I'm immature and disrespectful, and that's what I think about you, so I guess you could say that we're even. OK?
Not even. No way. Make a sincere apology to Lance and you'll be closer. A real one, not "I'm sorry. Please stop bothering me." Use some words that sound like you mean it.
Quote:
Enough. Like I said, FORGIVE AND FORGET ...
Doesn't work that way, just because you said so.

I've made mistakes. And paid the consequences. Like you are doing now. With maturity, you will learn to avoid making mistakes without paying the consequences. Until then, you get to learn the hard way.

Here's the skinny: Make a real, sincere apology to Lance and people will get off your back. Simple as that.

I am going to sound like a geezer on this one, but when you are 15 you always think you are right and that you know everything. I did, and that was only 6 years ago. It's not your fault though, one of those ugly facts of life.

I don't think it's possible to be too off-topic but as we know if it's racy, it might not stick around.

I usually don't get into these kind of topics, but I just have to this time.

You know, in all my time on the forums, somehow I have never, ever been flamed. Does this mean that I've agreed with everything people have said? Absolutely not. So how could I have not ended up in the situation that you find yourself in? Maybe it has something to do with a lesson I learned a lot time ago: to know when to keep my mouth shut. You said that ". . . now that I came back, I'm getting nothing but badmouthed by you guys." Could it be that you brought it upon yourself?

Don't be rude, dont bash.
Now if this isn't hypocrisy at it's worst! You think that the message you wrote to Lance wasn't a bash? Or rude? I think you need to read it again.

And as far as refusing to apologize to Lance, that's ridiculous. You may think that this is a free forum that Lance should have no say over you, but because this is a free forum, he's got more control than you think. Because we don't pay dues or the like, it's not a democracy, but a monarchy. Lance is the ruler of the CEG and he can do whatever he pleases with it.

I really can't say anything more that PA 3L SVT or Kai or anyone else has said, but this kid is rediculous. Just a piece of advice from a cranky 27 year old guy: Having a motto like "When someone stoops, stoop lower" might be one of the most preposterous things I've ever heard. That kind of maturity, my boy, will get you nowhere in dealing with people in your lifetime.

Mature people know when they have to swallow their pride, admit a mistake, and apologize. THAT'S when others can choose to forgive and forget, not when you tell them they should. If you plan to stick around here, this might be some advice you'll wanna take.

I know I'm only 16, but I feel I have a good opinion on all this. Moonlight is one of them little bi**h teenagers that thinks everything should be his way.(Asking for an a** kicking, if you came around here) I would like everything my way too, but that's not the way it is. I have not donated to this site, though almost feel I can't live without it. You should give respect to everyone of every age until they show they don't deserve it. Lance has shown he deserves, and thus I still respect him. This is HIS site and he has every right to control every thing on here. Thanks Lance for making this site, and thanks to the guy(Matt?) that host it. I guess it's sorta pointless to tell moonlight to grow up.

You just can't give everyone a big F YOU and expect to be welcomed back.

I know if I did that, I would at least have the integrity to stay gone.

I was flamed here once because of ignorance. (thought my car was faster than an SHO shocked ) This happened over a year ago and I've learned to listen before I speak. Look around, and figure out what's going on before opening up and looking like a complete fool. This is also why I rarely chime in on in-depth topics.

I've also kept on the quiet side: never open up a can of worms. You should be expecting this now, knowing how many people currently dislike you.

Exactly how long did you give FCO a chance? It seems to me that you were gone for, what, a half-week? Not only was that not long enough to determine if you hated a forum, it was not nearly long enough for the CEG to calm down over your immaturity.

Everything else has already been said.

P.S. About your poll, I couldn't vote. I would have said "yes", but only meaning that the off-topic section should have a limit to its off-topic-ness. You specified the answers too much :p
