You should get one of those sun-shields that you can put in your windshield. I just started using one and it makes a HUGE difference!

The best way to get tar and asphalt off your car is to put gas in a spray bottle. Squirt the spots and then let set about 2min and then it should rub off with a shop rag. Don't use a bug scratcher. I have seen done so many times. Also for marker paint use acetone. Hope that helps :p
