so the stock market is dropping even lower, evidence of what could be the most deadly terroristic attack on America...
so does anyone think the Osama has some "insiders" working the market?
think about it, what does America have without money? a bunch of pissed off people who hate each other and we're all such a mixed bag of co-habitants all we do is struggle with outselves...
(note: I'm am a very patriotic guy, i'm not downtalking American pride, etc... just a viewpoint)

It would take more money than the Princes of Saudi to swing the market one way or another.
Problem is, brokers are shorting stocks to make there money and pulling money out and sticking it in Treasuries, Bonds, and other stable low risk securities.

The market(as a whole) is to big to be influenced by any one person or group.

i think this is really a result of the overly-inflated market we had 2 years ago. part of the reason it was inflated was probably due to poor book keeping. especially with companies that weren;t making any money. the small fish died on their own, but the bigger fish are now paying the price for theie earlier dishonesty.
things will level out very soon, i think. probably by the fall. but interest rates will remain low (and maybe drop again) to keep things from falling too much, too fast.
rates will most likely head back up by fall 2003 and we'll see things turn around as bio-tech and genetics research take the market slightly higher.

The past few months have been so disappointing to me. Call me naive if you wish but I thought Corporate America had a little more decency and honesty than is apparently the case.
I also thought that the Govt. had better controls and checks than they apparently do. It is sickening to see some of these corporate leaders get away with some of the things they are getting away with. They still live a millionaires lifestyle while so many employees have lost a lifetime's savings. I would go so far as to say these action's are Treason at worst and un American at the very least.
It's a sad day.
