I used to think those guys were cool ... but now I just realize they are losers! stayin in the area after HS is one thing but hanging out w/ HS people and not even going to community college is another... we got tons of em here.. half of em work at pep boys lol

and yes they can not be having sex, although nobody I ever knew abstained permanently in their relationship, it might take time but it does happen. I was robbing the cradle myself in HS and wouldn't listen to any of my friends, now I know that they were right and love is blind.

Ok, time to sort some things out here people.

First off, I think ppl are getting me confused with whoever started this thread. i am 23, my g/f is 16, I believe the ages of the 2 ppl involved in this thread originally are much closer, approx. 18 and 15.

Second, we are NOT having sex, for religious reasons, although quite frankly that's none of your busisness.

Yes she does have a father, we got both of her parents permission right from the start, the "old fashioned" way.

As for if I'm the "loser" who's popular with the H.S kids, that's a call for individuals to make, though I recomend meeting someone before trying to decide if they're a "loser" or not. Do I have some friends in H.S., yes I do, does that make me a loser? I dunno, my friends that are elsewhere in college don't seem to think I'm loser nor does anyone else I know. A few ppl on the boards have met me and I don't think they thought I was a loser, I could be wrong.

Like I said, you can flame me all you want, I don't care really. I just wanted to straighten some things up hopefully before they got too out of hand.

yeah, i just noticed that. i'm not looking for any excuses to cheat, because i'm not going to. that's not my style, i'm not the "player" and i definitely wouldn't do something like that to my girlfriend. i don't drink either, so i don't have to worry about getting on some drunk chick at a party or something. thanks for the opinions guys, i think we can work this out. i think we're both much more loyal than some of you seem to be about relationships in general, and won't need any excuses

I would have to disagree with your intire statment. I employe an intire team of 5 highschool kids that are all friends with each other, if not boyfriend girlfriend. Not only do I work with them but I also hang out with them from time to time, there all into the same things im into for example fast cars and the girls that work (even though there boyfriends work for me) are awesome girls who are not immature in any way. Does this make me a loser, even though I have a large group of friends my own age, and also a large group of friends that are in there 30's? So im just a loser? I think theres a difference between the guy who hangs out at the highschool looking for highschool girls cuz he cant date any his age, and meerly the people who hang out with highschool kids. Im a friendly person and a damn good boss. I hang out with people I like, I would date a girl that was mature and nice enough to like regardless of her age if it was proper. I think the key factors are more important then age anyways. Just my opinion.

P.S. You guys can sit here and flame the guy with the 16 year old girlfriend but you know damn well that there are some young girls on here that get leg humped like its christmas at the orphanage, and I know your not all highschool boys.

Been there done that, she was in Des Moines, I am in Chicago. It is doable, just a pain in the ass sometimes.

trek 4500, I was kinda' joking about the STD thing, as others said, there are tons of great ladies in college, but you don't need to know that right now anyway. And stay sober since you have already, college isn't the time to start drinking, it's kind of like going into the major leagues straight from T-ball. I know too many people who were str8 thru HS, went to some big college and got in with the kids who can afford (or planned on) partying as long as their funds allow them to enroll. Losing a year of college and entering AA is not what these people needed.

Giovanni, no worries, I took no offense. You are right though, most 16 yr old girls I've ever known aren't mentally on a level to be with a 23 yr old, but my g/f is not most 16 yr old girls. She essentially runs her household (she has 3 younger sisters, cooking cleaning etc.) while maintaining a 4.0, holding down a job and preparing to be an exchange student.

as for you NorMich99SE.. i just would like to say I wasnt calling you a loser... I was just simply stating that there are losers around here that get out of highschool and dont even get a nice paying job they just go get a job at mc d's or pep boys live w/ mommy and daddy and dont even think of going to college and thats when it really ticks me off when they still hang out w/ the youngins... they never grow up ya know?.. oh and goodluck with your girl... that is all

I dont see where there is no relevance. I hang out with highschool kids, I stayed in the area, and I never went to community college, maybe I should have been more clear about that. While I have lived on my own since I was 18 and I have a great job. I still did that. Its okay though, you can call me a loser if you like.
