Bad boys always get the hot chicks! But, that only lasts so long once women get older(late 20's) they start wanting the nice guys.

IMO- yes some girls accept being treated like crap. Why? Well lets see. Maybe that's all she knows. Family life could have been rough, low self esteem, abused, and I'm sure there are other reasons this behavior could be tolerated by women. I never really heard of a decent level headed woman putting up with that kind of treatment.
*My disclaimer* some girls can be horrible & treat men like crap as well.
Next time you see a girl who would put up with that ask yourself a question. What would cause a normal person to accept this behavior? If you know the issue or are pretty sure there is one you have to choices. 1) be a man and be understanding or 2) take advantage of someone who has probably been hurt before.
If you really like the girl persistence does pay off. Most times.

i've had my fair share of jerks... but there comes a point where a girl doesn't want to be treated badly anymore and doesn't wanna deal with that guy's crap he dishes out.

i've realized nice guys are so much better and they still keep me in line :p

too much "niceness" drives me crazy, but if he's got a good balance... and is respectful.. oohhh, i now know it's the only way to go

I have to give my opinion on the matter since I have been with a fair share of women in all denominations.

With certain cultures, women are treated second hand to men, so these particular women take physical/verbal abuse as a norm.

The best women I have had as girlfriends are asian women where they were completely loyal to me. It was my player status at the time that made them leave me and sometimes I do regret cheating on all of them.

I can go on and on but this is a forum and topics such as these have been getting locked lately.

But, al-in-all I would say that women in general take things for granted, usually because of a past relationship.

I've also had my share of being treated like crap. Current boyfriend tried, so I left him. Late that night he calls pleading his case now he's my fiance. But we still argue ever 2 days so it's cool. Can't stand to much of a nice guy.

I don't think women like to be treated bad.

When you push someone that is attracted to you away they have an instinctive reaction to try to win your attention back.

Women do the same thing, but go about it differently.

If you do it too much, or for too long, the person will eventually stop being attracted.
