Don't worry about selling it...someone wants to buy it...good...if not don't lose sleep over it, you still get to drive a nice car in the morning. Wrong the contour is far from a NICE car. That is why it is getting sold. I am down for a trade if you give me 14,999. Deal? -Antonio[/b] You might not think it's a nice car, but I do.[/b]Sounds like there are certian aspects/problems of the car you don't know about. If I dont say so myself, I think Antonio would know more about the car than you. He drives it, lives with it, etc. You just look at it. G r y m e s, you are on point. Why do I want to sell?? Well in my eyes. My project, my goals with the SVT are done. I believed I have reached the highest level of pimpness I can reach. If I strive any higher I will be a mere fool. 7g's into the SVT is enough for me. I still, and will always love BOTH of my SVT's.
Jim, I don't have a beef with it. Like I told you before I feel like it is time to move on. When I do I hope that I will still be allowed to troll this great place.. even though right now we are as a board going through troubled times..

I know where you are coming from Antonio. My friend Nick is selling his mid-high 13's 95 GSR. Why? Because he has completed the project in his eyes. Good luck with the sale.

One day you'll realize that modding your car is a losing battle, and just to enjoy the car as it is.. I've had my car for 3.5 years, and my first mod is coming this week (BMC Air Filter, similar to a K&N). And the only reason I'm even doing this is because I need a new filter, and the price was so right ($19.95, regularly $95!). There are a few mods that make sense, like the DMD and the B&M shifter, but everything else just seems like a waste. $3K on 19s, and now you can't even drive the car as hard as it should be driven, for fear of damaging the rims. Maybe that's why you're seeing so many Civics rolling on steelies these days.

-Antonio[/b]Maybe worth it to you, but not to most people.. I'd much rather have a 1 year newer car with a warranty and 45K less miles. What you have to think about is that some people want to personalize their cars themselves, so they don't want a modded car. Others view a modded car as being driven hard. Plus, the fact that others might not like the things you've done to it - To be honest, I loved your 18s, but I'm not feeling the 19s. Others may be in the same boat. Food for thought. But knowing what I know now, if I were ever to get another SVT as a beater, I'd leave it stock except for the B&M, KKM, and the DMD.

-Antonio Get real. Common knowledge - when you mod your car you limit your market of potential buyers. See below (and above). That's why you're better off parting the car out and selling it as close to stock as possible. Originally posted by TheBoxsterGuy: Maybe worth it to you, but not to most people..
