Yes, lance rocks. I would (could?) not dedicate as much effort as he does to keep this site up if it was up to me. I dunno about you guys, but I just come here for the 'tour. My wife, friends and family are there to discuss the rest of the stuff.

Lance: You are the man. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If it wasn't for the work you've put into this site (for no personal gain), I'd be driving a 1988 Olds Cutlass Ciera every day, because I would have replaced my blown motor and then sold my SVT last summer. Which would have been the most disappointing day of my life. I can't thank you enough.

I do not like how we can't swear on here, or how street racing stories aren't allowed. I have been coming here for about 2 1/2 years and I will say it has become more strict in certain ways over time, but as Lance points out he want this to be a family friendly site and he has to draw the line in the sand somewhere. When I first saw the "hot chick" post I was in school and immediatly closed my browser as I was afraid there was some pr0n in there. As we all know it's not MY site.

I spend a good portion of my time on the off-topic forum, and probably a good 75% of my posts are on here. I think the CEG (including the mods who I don't always see eye-to-eye with) are a great group. Unfortunately it seems that one day in the (near?) future that the CEG might have to change ownership and how it's run, as unfortunate as that will be.

Everybody (even myself especially) has to remember one key thing The CEG is NOT a Democracy with that being said, I do have enough web space that could probably support a lounge, but this would only be if Lance wanted to like it to there, I wouldn't go over my bandwith limmit (I am unsure what it is), and I had UBB software to use on it, just an idea.

As we all know this is a Contour Enthusiast site. Many of us come here because we wanted to learn more about our wonderful cars. I'm sure Lance himself learned a lot by reading some of the posts. But like all people, we all have our own opinions. I feel that thread got deleted because sooner or later it may have gone overboard. Okay, a lot of the women of CEG didn't get offended, basically because they're used to seeing this kind of thing. But what if a girl posted one up about which guy is hotter?? I'm sure a lot of replies from the CEG men would've said "DAMN THIS IS GHEY ****!". It guarantee would've offended someone.

What i'm trying to say is that although that was an Off-topic post, as the forum states.. it may have been getting to the point of being offensive. He probably caught sight of it, because it just stands out. That was the first thing i noticed when i checked the off-topic forum on that day it was posted.

But as I said, we're all grownups (I hope), and we can understand that this is Lance's site. He built this for people who love the Contour (and the trolls who come to see what's a contour). I praise Lance for everything he's done for us. Without you guys, I would be stuck with a stock Contour. Especially since Hawaii has mostly imports It's almost impossible to find a mod here for my car.

Thank you Lance for this site. Do as you wish, and delete all posts that you come across, and you don't like.

I usually don't get too attached to threads so if a mod decides it needs to be locked/deleted, it doesn't bother me.
I move on.
and go read other fun threads.

I like to follow the rules and do what I'm told.
