I guess that no one has been around long enough, or no one remembers, but Lance got upset about a thread of a similar nature quite some time ago. Note the lack of "hotties"-type threads on these forums.

Just an FYI, I have no idea what happened to the thread. I never even clicked on it, so I can't testify to the content of it.

I don't want to see that sort of thing here, this is a CAR forum. There are plenty of other places on the internet for this sort of thing. If you have a problem with that, go elsewhere.

No, Lance, we seem to think this is an Off Topic Forum. If Beer, Investment, and lots of other topics are OK, why not this one?

I guess that means that you are going to start deleting all posts not referring to cars, right?? Religion, politics, someone's new tatoo, etc. I am not trying to be a smarta$$, but you might as well do away with the off topic forum all together or put a list of topics not allowed at the top of the page. I get tired of seeing posts about religion and other things, but they never get deleted. Not saying that they should, but I think those topics are just a little bit more offensive than posting pics of beautiful women. I love this site but am really bothered by the use of power being presented. I guess we need a backup site just to carry on conversations that do not refer cars. Just my $0.02. I am not trying to get banned but this site is becoming to restricted!

What exactly does "Off Topic" mean? Why even have such a forum if we cannot post other things than CARS? I am a little confused on the reasoning.

I barely tolerate Off Topic as it is. I had my arm twisted to add it way back when.

Go drool over chicks somewhere else. If you don't like it, waaaaaaah cry me a river. GET A GRIP, PEOPLE! I feel soooo appreciated for devoting so much of my time to keep this site going.

Come on folks...what Lance says goes. Keep in mind that we don't pay dues so we don't have much to back arguments with. It's a free site run, in large, by ONE person, so why don't we not try and piss him off.
