Very biased of course. I am also looking at resale value of the car perhaps a year later. I donot want to go through another price slash with the next car I own. laugh

The Porche Boxster is looking like the clear choice according to the polls, so most likely I am going to get this car.

Thought about that car awhile ago, but most of the Supras I've seen has taken some form of abuse. And I want to keep my insurance at a reasonable cost.

A few years ago, I had a Mistu VR4 that cost me over $200/month to insure! The Porche Boxster is going to cost me $125/month to insure with AAA with the two car discount.

The Mercedes SLK320 is a front engine car.

If you are going to consider that, consider a Z3 with the 3 liter.

Or better yet a pre-owned M Coupe. That will put the smackdown on most of the cars in that list.

If you can afford a Boxster S, the new M Coupe WILL put the smackdown on all of those cars..it is almost a 12 second car from the factory!

oooh! MCoupe. that is a very good idea. i love those things cuz they are so funky looking.

i like the boxsters, but everyone in boston has one. they are like the 3 series or a civic around here.

i'd still say the Lotus is the best bet.

or maybe one of these...

Lotus Esprit S4

wink
