Out of everything you brought up, the only one I even care to comment on are the illegal aliens.

My wife is from the Philippines. Her ex was in the Navy. They got married, first got stationed in Guam and then back in Cali. She applied for citizenship as soon as she could. She passed. Soon after, she petitioned her mother. Something like six years later she was approved to come here. She petitioned for her father. He just got here late last year.

I came along in the end of her ordeal w/ her mom and most of the ordeal w/ her dad. I've seen the INS screw around w/ paperwork, claim the wrong form was filed, etc. I know it's a pain in the ass. But you know what? She did it legally. She jumped through all the hoops they asked her to and then some.

Why should I feel sorry for illegal immigrants that don't feel the need to do the same? I won't. If they have healthcare problems, why should I weep for them? Maybe they should've planned ahead for something like that.
