Maybe someone can give me some insight since Microsoft's site isn't much help.
When I double-click an MP3 to play it, I get an error that says:
The path to the file is not correct
Windows Media Player cannot find the file. The server name, shared directory name, or file name may be incorrect.
Check the file name and path for any misspellings or discrepancies. If this error message persists, contact your content provider for the correct location of the file you want to play.
Error ID = 0xC00D1197, Remedy ID = 0x00000000
WTF?? Can't find specified file? I just double-clicked on the damn thing and it's local to my HDD! Anyway, if I use File\Open File... I can play the MP3, and if I right click on the MP3 itself and select either Open or Play or Open With... (and select Media Player), it works fine. It just doesn't work when I double-click it.
Any ideas anyone?
