It's an electric water pump with it's own regulator that tells it when to run and when not to right??? If so… does that mean we could get rid of the thermostat? I'm sure that would just help the flow and what's the point of having one when the pump runs only when it needs to and shuts it's self on and off anyway. Not only that, it's just one less thing to go wrong.
