The pump will be fine for a 3.0 conversion.It will handle engine sizes up to 5.5 ltrs as a single, above that you would need 2 pumps.For example I saw a 'test' vehicle at Silverstone racetrack in England on my recent visit, it was a 'one off' special, had a V12 'Lambo motor and two of these pumps, ran like a dream.Its flow rate can vary between 5 - 21 Gal/min,depending on the amount of cooling the control module 'calls' for.
