ok now dont think I am messed up or something here, but since I assume that this post will be getting to a lot of reasonably intelligent adult males, I have a rather awkward question. Flame away at this one, but I would love to know what the consensus is regarding the subject of the speed in which sex occurs in a new relationship... this is a kind of strange question but receiving a lot of opinion from people that have been there and done that would help me a great deal. I'll talk more on a personal basis re: this situation if u want to im me,,, i know that is a lot to ask,but i am not just saying if ur bored and want to offer advice, it would be greayly appreciated,,, thanx

well, she and i have known each other for a long time, but she had a b/f when she came to college, and now we are 'going out' or so it goes... and sex is coming up... i dont know what to think... yeah but thanx for the help guys, u reinforced what i already thought would be the wise decision

Not necessarily true - I know at least two married couples that got it on after their first date. Heh, I was wearing a tux at both weddings now that I think of it. It's not when the sexual relationship starts, it's how the couple's complete relationship grows (or fails to grow) after then that matters.
