They're eliminating the 3rd shift for all but 21 employees in the press department where I work. I hear they are trying to eliminate 3rd shifts all over the plant. Everyone else is being moved to 2nd shift. Supposedly more layoffs are due since they will have a surplus of employees. Things are not good.
Oh well, if I get laid off, I'm taking a trip. Probably visit my mom in NM.
Besides, I'm going back to school full time in the spring, so I do have a back up plan.
