I've got an old Sony 25 channel that I've had for years. I think I bought it back in 96. That thing has been put through so much sh## (thrown against walls, sat on, beer spills, etc.) that I'm quite impressed with it. Don't know about the new 2.4g technology but I've heard that the 900mhz is very close to it as far as reception and security go.
