Its a positive thing now. I am just trying to get the cash together with my partner to order the parts and have circuit boards made to our design. I expect to order this stuff in 1-2 weeks. Then assembly and testing... 1 more week week, and then ready to ship. Probably 1 week I will have definite parts costs and therefore pricing.
I am targeting one month from now to have them done. We will only be able to make them in batches of 9 at this point, so thats why it has higher initial cost. The $60 target is still a good estimate of price. We intend to include a module, short wiring harness, and a wiring schematic. You will have to pick up two standard relays, some wire, and connectors. Install time is probably 45minutes if you know how to work on the stuff. Add more time if you hook up the windows as well.
The final module will do the following:
-Provide 1-touch open on the sunroof
-allow remote control opening/closing of the sunroof.
-allow remote control open/close of the windows.
if you wanted to control something else with the window output you can. It is just a timed output that can be used to turn on any switchable device or relay.
All that I need is time, and I haven't got enough. I will update as I acquire more info.
