I will admit I do drive fairly aggressively,
BUT not dangerously. There will always be safe distance between me and the others on the road. Everyone will always know what moves I am about to do also. If I am gaining on someone else and they are doing the speed limit or faster, I will stay well off of them. If they are driving under the limit or roadblocking traffic, thats when I (and others) start to get annoyed. Those are the people that I pass as soon as I can.
People just gain this strength (?) when they are driving. [i]"I am invincible in my Suburban, it is big and strong and will protect me and my family." They will act a lot different then they would normally when they are driving. If someone does, or is doing something that they disapprove of, they will let the people know, by yelling at them, speeding off, hitting the brakes, flipping them off, brighting them, etc.
I had a situation of road rage happen a year and a half (or so) ago. I was on my way home from a terrible day at work. I wanted nothing more then to just be home, where I could relax and play some video games. I was catching this Suburban rather quickly. I was doing probably about 60 in a 50, but was catching the truck at more like 30 mph. I signaled around them and kept accelerating. Doing about 70, and catching the Cavalier in the slow lane, I signaled back over. There was about three car lengths between my back bumper and the front of the `burban, with the gap increasing. I am now in front of them, and what do they do? I get high beams!

Instant reaction was to give them lights of my own. Both feet on the brake pedal. While I was getting a nice massage from my ABS (on dry pavement), I realise that the `burban isn't stopping near as fast. I let off and get back onto the gas. The `burban brights me again (I deserved it this time

), so I give them brakes, again. I am now stopped, in park, in the fast lane of the 50 mph road. I thought about what would happen if I had gotten out. I would almost place a bet that the driver of the Suburban would have been about a 90#, middle aged woman, wo was angry I was going so much faster then what she thought was 'safe' for the road. Then, thoughts of a angry man with a gun came to mind. After over a minute of sitting there, I put it in drive and went home.
I am not saying that either of us were in the right. Thinking about it I should have just set cruise at 50 and ignored them. I still can't figure out why they brighted me though. How did they know I wasn't a gun carrying, 350# man with a short temper? Little did they know that all my little car had in it was little 140# me, who was, and still is, unarmed.
I still remember the `burban's license plate too, it was personalised, though I haven't seen it again. Perhaps they found the angry 350# man? I hope not.
People....
