and to fmr12b you can kiss my a**...don't tell me what to do..i'm on here because i am an enthusiast too and i also own an svt...and i don't care if you like my stang or not,don't be jealous because you don't own anything that can touch it...i wouldn't tell the ztec guys their cars are pos,cause they're not made by chrysler..i love the ztec, great little motor actually,and the svt focus is an awesome car..unlike most of you i am a ford enthusiast..but i like all sorts of cars..i just don't like neons!!and speak for your self about what people on this forum like,not everybody shares your opinion i don't like the stang boards,they aren't any fun anymore..i love my tour to death,and that's what i'm on here for is to improve my svt,and interact with other tour enthusiasts...just don't like aholes like you!!!that tries to speak for everyone on here,on what kind of cars everyone likes...i know alot of stang owners have attitudes,but most of them can back up their talk..and people like you are just jealous...but again that's just my opinion..

Personally I don't like the "Rice Boy" looks at all, but you can't argue with the performance package.

Hopefully it has a decent MTX, because we all know Mopar ATX's are trash. (especially the one in the neon!)

They are going to come already quick and be able to flat out haul. The engine can make 300-400HP no problem!

Heh chris, I've owned several Mustang GTs over the years and drove my brother's 88 as well. Loved them all. If I didn't need to transport 2 big kids around, I would probably own a GT right now. But you are mistaken to believe that most Mustang owners can back up their talk. THEIR CAR can back up their talk.

Most Mustang drivers are clueless when it comes time to turn the wheel....omigosh, what am I gonna do! Rara on the other hand works with a Ford engineer who finished 2nd at the SCCA Nationals the last two years driving Bullit Mustangs and Cobras. THAT I admire and respect. It shows multi-dimensional skill and knowledge of high-performance driving techniques. Your skills show that you can mash the pedal and beat a car with a lesser hp/weight ratio.

Straighten up your act and change your name or nobody will have anything to do with you here. There are several Mustang drivers here, and they ain't talking your kind of crap.

don't know why you gotta hate on someone just cause he has a stang..if ur such an enthusiast,why u gotta hate on stangs so much?the only reason i stated it has an interior,is cause alot of these so called street cars don't..i just don't apprecite the personal insults..grow up!alot of you don't realize that the 87-93 stang movement is what started all of this aftermarket..the aftermarket exploded,all the other guys wanted the same parte as the stang guys,so they could make their cars perform better,when they realized the huge aftermarket for stangs,not too many companies had all these intake,exhaust and other parts..the huge stang market helped get alot of that rolling...but anyways i can still do w/o the personal insults,when all i was insulting was cars,not anyone personally.. :rolleyes:

very true svt cole,but i was sick of all the personal insults geared towards me..i thought this site was full of car enthusiasts,and ford enthusiasts like myself but i guess i was wrong..i actually prefer my svt over my stang..and i love this site for the info and the help i've gotten for my svt..i just had a strong opinion on that neon,and everyone started to take personal shots at me,which was uncalled for..i wasn't trying to be a stang ahole..its just that all these little turbo cars that come out have to try and talk like they can outrun everything on the road..i'm personally not on here to talk about my stang,but they kept taking personal shots...is there anyone else on here that are ford enthusiasts like me,and actually love their tours as much as i do?i'm beginning to wonder

Finally something a little on topic! I think the bang for the buck this car will give it's going to be flat out amazing. The transmission supposedly has held up fine with the SRT-4 they have raced already. That car is the one with about 260hp. I don't know too much about the problems or if they fixed them (supposedly) already....but I'll bring it up when I go over next.

why do people insist on comparing apples to oranges?
are mustangs and neons even remotely in the same class? I mean I may just be a girl and not know much, but I don't f'in think so.
of course one is obviously going to beat the other one "at the track"

I think it's great that Chrysler is finally coming away from that cutesy "HI" crap that it pulled when it first released the Neon and now be more appealling to the sport compact community.
