No problems at home on Mozilla 1.0/Linux. Don't surf the forums enough at work to notice.

if you're hitting your back button, doesn't it make sense then that the items that show up on the page are outdated?
I mean, that's what it looked like before you clicked something on it, so then when you click back, it goes back to what it was when you first clicked something on it.
I dunno, that's my simpleminded explanation for it.
doesn't seem like there's a problem with this at all in my mind.
what's so hard about hitting F5 to refresh?

It wouldnt be so bad if it didnt go to the previous days threads. Hitting refresh isnt so bad, but I would like to see the current threads. If Im in OFF TOPIC, all the threads are old enough to be on page 2 sometimes. Its not a big deal to me, just wierd that it does it in the first place.

Well, they're not just a few minutes outdated. I'll go back and the threads will be a few days old. Old enough to be on page 2. Sure, hitting refresh is no big deal. But sometimes i won't notice that i'm looking over topics that are as old as they are. smile

I'm just glad i'm not the only one. :p

It's a caching problem with MS Internet Explorer. I was having the same problem and Lance and I finally figured out that Internet Explorer caches too aggressively. In order to fix the problem you need to go click on Tools, then click Internet Options. Once you are there click on Setting under the Temporary Internet Files and change it to Check for newer versions of stored pages: every time you visit a page. Once you are done, restart your computer and you should be good to go.
