12V VR6 typically makes 145FWHP & about 155 tourque stock at the wheels. typical mods get them up to 155-160 HP max. Very similar to stock duratec. The engine in a light (2800 lb) GTi makes it equal to an SVT or faster but in a Jetta (3020 lbs) it a bit slower. Adding 30 HP and probably little or no torque, the gti will quite quick, the Jetta will equal to slightly faster than SVT. Be forewarned.
