both cars are true american icons, just the vette is moreso. camaros and firebirds with bad technology? They are using older technology yes, but they still beat the mustang, they didnt need to update their technology, it was good enough, and it kept the price reasonable, the Chevy 350 motor is twice that of fords 5.0 or 4.6. burgman, your GT is fast, and my contour is slow compared to it, i was just saying that compared to other American V8's, the mustang was generaly always the slowest of the bunch, i mean, a stock z28, not even a ss, could take 01 and earlier cobras. supercharge a camaro and race the two cars, see what happens. there is no denying it, it would WASTE it, WASTE it. the camaros and firebirds will be back in 3-4 years, so dont get too excited. And just because GM is retiring these two fine sports cars, that doesnt mean they were bad. look at the supra, 300zx, rx-7, were they all terrible? there are more mustangs on the road yes, because of the female population just so you know. you cannot win this debate, you just cant, and before you get immature with your next post, i can back up everything i say and counter argue what you say, and i will always come out on top with this issue. 03(supercharged) cobra=faster than camaros, birds, and c5 vettes. (supercharged) cobra =slower than any of those with (superchargers), what does that tell you?
