i just installed a wet kit on my 98svt i changed my plugs and i am running a chip my superchips. also. should i get rid of the chip? what could be causing the back fire.

is it a flip chip? does it retard your timing at all? need to know more about your setup really... how much juice ya flowin? chip specs, etc

well its a kit my NOS wet of course 100 shot as low as you can get for an returnless system. 6050fi is part number 5040FI my chip increased my rev limiter remapped my fuel. its not a flip chip to where you can change it out to nitrous to running non nitrous. simply by a switch.

When are you hitting the backfire?

i hit it as soon as i hit i say about 4500 3rd gear. since then i havent been on the bottle. well first of i wanted to try purge it so i did with the precious metal plat. then i went a step colder havent ran it since also took the chip out. but still i want to know if i need a timing retarder, msd. or fuel regultor.????? i was told that if i did run more nitrous i would have to get a stand alone fuel managment system is this true or do i need one now. if so who makes it for the svts.

does any one know how to move this thread to force inductions please help
