I'll give you that, but evidence of Haiti's effectiveness in eliminating slavery from their country is hard to come by. Evidence to the contrary, however, is plentiful.

How many of those countries had established slavery traditions when it was abolished by law? It's easy to abolish slavery when you don't have any, and as the evidence of slavery continuing in Haiti attests, difficult to abolish it where it exists.
