Wait till the same thing happens at Xerox next week. At my last job, our #1 client (which accounted for 90% of our revenue stream) was Adelphia Communications, the 5th largest cable company. Now, if you've followed the news, they're in Chapter 11, with crooked books, $3 billion unaccounted for, and the stock delisted last week.
That blow decimated our company, and eventually we went under. Ironically, I now work at the #3 cable company in the country (Comcast), and we'll be the #1 cable provider by October, if all goes as plans.
But since that means nothing these days, it doesn't give me feeling of security. I'd much rather leave the corporate BS behind and go back to working at a startup company.
