My company's CSM/CSA/Lean Mfg (common sense mfg and common sense administration) manager has recently quit. The position is a direct report to the VP of operations. I'm not sure of any of the details of the job yet, but I am sure I will be pursuing the opportunity. The only drawback is a considerable amount of travel time going to our 34 plants in the US, Canada, and Mexico. I would get a company car and probably on the order of a 30k raise.
