Judo and other martial arts. Right now I'm helping a guy get ready enter UFC like fight in August. Why he wants to do this I don't know. Besides that it's computers, cars, standard issue "car forum guy stuff"
I purchased a guitar about 7 months ago and am in the processes of learning a few songs. Come on everyone, how about another round of "Kumbaya"? Just kidding, I'm trying to learn a few old 80's songs like "That's entertianment" by the Jam. Lastly I've been know to paint. Huge fan of modern art.

1. Writing - currently coauthoring a book. 2. Astronomy-have Meade ETX-90EC telescope and enjoy looking at the Galilean moons 3. Kendo-I have been out of practice but plan to visit the Northern Virginia Budokai soon. 4. New hobby: trilobite fossils! These ancient arthropods ruled the seas from the PreCambrian Era to the Permian Extinction (a time period spanning 300 million years). They were by far the most successful multicellular species to grace the planet having diversified to fill many ecological niches while retaining their original basic body design. They left no direct descendents, however.

You'll like the MD-12; I've had mine for about 20 years--they're pretty reliable and don't eat batteries nearly as fast as you'd expect. I do a fair amount of medium (Rolleiflex) and large-format photography. It's cool when rookies with their new Nikon F5's see me under my black focusing cloth working with my 4x5 and ask if it's an antique. When I show them that's it's a current camera with a 150mm multicoated Nikkor, they get very confused....

Wonderful stuff! How long have you been a photographer?[/b]Hi Kendall, Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate when someone "sees" the difference between a "snappy cam" pic and one that required a bit of forethought and a little skill. I am a wannabe. I so admire photos taken in the wild by some of the nature photographers. Tack sharp and at poster sizes! Amazing! I visited your site "Nippy". Tack sharp photos...I love an IN FOCUS photo! What camera did you use...I hope it wasn't a disposable! ...Ed edit: 30 years and still trying for a good one!
