Just wondering what other things that Contour owners enjoy with regards to either hobbies or interests...
Personally I am a fan of Model cars and planes (Mostly RC), Custom computer building (I work in IT so that gets old though), Nice fountain pens, high end watches mostly Rolex, computer gaming and console gaming, good wine, beer, and fine scotch.
Just wondering what else Contour enthusiasts are into, as A while back I bumped into another CEGer on a watch collecting/enthusiasts messageboard which I frequent and replied to a post of mine which dealt with what car you drive and what watch you wear. i found it surprising as many people don't know that the contour can be a high end vehicle and that there are enthusiast groups, and also that many don't regard watch collecting as a hobby but more of a waste, so having two obscure hobbies in another was of interest to me...
Even though he was not thrilled with my CSVT and Rolex ownership, as he felt someone who recognised the hidden performance of the contour should also recognise the hidden quality in brands other than Rolex...but I was more interested in the fact that another CEGer had simialar interests.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

sports:
Participate in basketball, golf, and the occasional football game. Watch just about any sport.
Cars:
Obviously. I like old and new with no preference to any particular type of vehicle.
Electronics:
Mainly audio related, but computers are also of interest. I build speakers for home use and have done my share of car audio installs.
House restoration:
More of a necessity than a hobby, but i enjoy it.
Beer:
I have a fairly large beer bottle collection, but can't afford to continue.
Motorcycles:
I really like vintage bikes and would like to restore some. Again, no money.
Woodworking:
I have built a couple of pieces of furniture along with countless speakers/sub enclosures. Probably my favorite hobby.
Custom golf clubs: I build a few sets a year for individuals and build all of my own. Just me being cheap....

Small collection of die cast models and Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars. Mt. Biking, Snowboarding. I don't do them as much as I used to though. I'm into women too BTW. I tried collecting them but the cops don't like it too much.

Horse that is nice....had to cut and paste the link to work but wow...I would love to have that car. Dnewman sounds like you keep yourself very busy, I am especailly interested in the custom golf clubs as I am thinking of getting into playing golf and was looking at a driver to buy. Sounds interesting. Todras don't know if the women would like that either ...I used to have alot of die cast cars also but never had the room to display them, also they were nothing special.

I just went biking on a really technical trail here in Austin this weekend. The loop started with a 2-foot ledge going uphill, and it just got rockier and steeper from there. I knew I was in way over my head, but oh well. Snowboarding is so much fun but I wasn't able to go this past season... I've taken a few skydiving lessons, which is a huge rush. Anyone else an adrenaline addict? Too many hobbies, too little $$$

Cars; in particular the Contour, Mondeo (MK2), and anything Mercedes-Benz made since '88 Computers; computer programming. Haven't learned yet - that comes next year in college! I have no interest in working out and my body shows it (not fat; just weak!)
Matthew 98.5 Contour SE V6 It has spent 1.5 years under the wrong identity ;-)
