3.0L, definitely. Actually I'd go 3L and Quaife, since it's sooo cheap now *THANKS FOCUS** -lol laugh If you've already got some mods, chances are good that they'll work with the 3L, too. If you still need more power, save some more cash and get Hightower's turbo kit (hopefully). Keep those Taurus c-heads around, they may be good for something after all.

I'd go with the 3.0L just because of the reliability issue. I know the S/C is sweet and all but seeing how there is no intercooler it seems to get too hot under there. I like the turbo but Chris will have to work out all the "bugs" that go along with anything new and there again the compression ratio is an issue with anything thats forced induction eek I can't see putting extra "squeeze" in a 10:25:1 to 10:1 compression engine by using the turbo or S/C. The ultimate set up is to have terry Haines build you a 3.0L w/ low compression and then put the turbo/S/C on it. I hope someone does that to the Tour.

USMC-AV8R: I priced mine (was going to do) at 5100. Price to include; SHOShop prep block, Quaife (was higher in price), Clutch, Flywheel, and install. Most of the 99+'s can't do the SC do to returnless fuel system. Mute point if that is the case. Would be interested to see if/when the turbo's come out if they work with it ???

i just sun a bearing in my 98 svt, so race related is doing my engine swap t a 3L and lowering the compression to maybe 9:1 so that i can run a s/c and 100 shot of nos to cool the charge.
