I work for Home Depot, and I have never heard of such a policy implimented. Just a couple facts for you... First, when the 9/11 attack occured, Home Depot was the #1 supplier of goods to help the effort. They were also #1 donator of money. We also donated more man-hours to help the effort. The Home Depot trucks were the ONLY ones allowed into the WTC site, no Lowes or other contractors were allowed. I think that there was some major PR mess ups with that "press release" I know we as a company, also donate so much to government agencies, such as local police, state agencies; so I really dont know what all this is about...
