I actually had someone follow me all the way home, it was pretty fu**ing scary. This was when I had my old Chevy Cavalier wagon too. I was driving down 12th St. in Erie, PA (A major street in our town) at night and this guy in this blue van is on my ass the whole time. I go into the turning lane to go home, turning right, and it's a "No Turn On Red" lane. I'm waiting to turn, and this guy keeps honking his horn at me and flashing his lights, and that light's still red! I roll down my window and give him the finger, and yell "No turn on red, a$$hole!" Well, the light turns green, and he's STILL on my ass. I turn left down the next road, about a mile until my house, and he's STILL on me. I go onto my street and decide that I don't want to let this guy know where I live, and double back.

Here's where it gets fun.

He keeps on me, and then goes (I had thought) to pass me, but ends up right next to me...and it's only a two lane street! (He's in the opposing traffic lane). Him and two other guys are yelling at me, being total jackasses, and swerving into my car! At this point I was about ready to need another pair of Scooby Doo underoos, so I did the only thing I could think of; I slammed on the brakes. They went flying past me, and I turned into a parking lot. They turned around, went after me, and I drove back onto 12th Street to the highway (I-79). They're STILL on me, and I was going at least 80 in that wagon (The top speed is only 85 too!). I turn off the highway onto 26th street and turn into a BK parking lot, figuring if they're going to do something, I'd let them do it where they'd be seen. I stop, let them pull up to me, roll down my window, and yell "Why the hell are you following me!" Then I hear the driver say "Captain Ron!" (my nickname from high school).

Turns out it was my buddy back from Basic Training in the army!

We always have a good kick out of remembering that story smile

Thanks for the responses! I called the MVA this morning to have them make my records private but happily found out that they were all made private as of July 2000. (It used to be that if you didn't want your records publicly available you had to fill out a request form). So at least the guy has a small chance of finding out where I actually live, that makes me feel a lot better.

The only thing that seemed inconsistent to me was that the headlights I saw following me for the 15 miles looked like they were from a newer civic, but when I turned around (which admittedly kept me from eyeing the entrance I had entered for a few seconds) the civic that I caught turning around and pulling back out was definately an earlier model. Seemed odd, but the whole night was odd, and I'm not as good at specific generation headlights as I am tailights. Oh well. I'm just glad the guy can't get my info. smile
