OK, I had a weird thing happen tonight. For a distance of about 10 - 15 miles on numerous roads, a Civic was following me on my way home...I didn't think anything of it until I got to my exit and they continued to follow me onto a side street. So I turned into a small local college parking lot, and the Civic pulls into the entrance and turns around. At this point, I wanted to know who it was, so I turned around and saw a red civic hatchback pulling off, so I pull out after him and get the plate # (MD KLE156 for the record in case I dye tomorrow, haha).

Shortly after, the car (40 yards away or so) starts slowing down and comes to a stop about 50 yards away like he's waiting. This freaked me out, so I turned around a jetted home keeping an eye out to make sure he wasn't behind me.

This has freaked me out a bit, should I report this to the police or do you guys think it was just some freak occurence of a guy checking out the car? Any advice?

Yeah man I would have stopped dead center of the street..got out and looked at him. Possibly kicked his arse if it came to that. Probably some weirdo who likes SVt's though.

I had that happen to me a few weeks ago! some guy followed me all over (about 10 min) I called a friend of mine (6'6) and had him meet me outside of his house (cause I was a scared little girl!)and then he finally drove off! It was a silver civic! It must be something with civic people!

That's why I carry my beating stick and baseball with me in my car - you never know!

Calling the cops (at least in Montgomery County) wont do anything.

I wouldn't have gotten out of the car because the guy could have been crazy as me and shot your arse![j/k]

No seriously, you did the right thing by getting his plate number. Now if that weirdo comes around again, call the police.

When I lived in MI I had a few crazies follow me out of Detroit on late nights on my way home... One time I pulled over on a side street so he could pass me but he ended up pulling up next to me and saying "Do you need to be home"!! I told him yes Im on my way now, and he said "sorry" and left. What a sick MF!! mad

I'd keep a close eye on your car. Might have been trying to find out where you live so he could come back and steal it later. eek

Its good thinking to get the plate number. Give it to someone you know though, in case the worst happens. If the worst happens how will we know it happened?
