Hey gang! This is my first time to the board. I just bought a '98 Contour SE and I'm beginning to plot and plan. I'm thinking of adding fog lights (I'm starting small) and was wondering if the wiring is set for that since they weren't factory installed. Any info you all can help with would be great!

Additional mods are also going to be cosmetic to begin with. I'm thinking about ground effects, rims and replacing the SE badge with side markers.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Keep your eye on the Group buy forum for additional buys.

First mods are pretty standard ... since the engine is a "big" (yes that what she said) air pump, help the sucker (no pun intended) breathe better. laugh

Intake (KKM, K&N) Headers (MSDS, SHM) Exhaust (Borla, Bassani, Custom-needed for SHM Headers).

Just curious, but do most mods run for cost? I'm a little low on funds these days. laugh What are some easy things that I can do for under $200?

Any thought on how much they might run without DYI? I'm not too mechanically inclined and have a serious lack of tools. I'd like to learn, though.

Hey
I suggest you visit your local branch of the CEG. You should be able to find someone to help you install it!! The intake is not hard to install, but you could do it while you install your exhaust!
Make sure you reset your computer after doing mods!
Andy

I'm really good friends with JontourSVT (John). He's been a great sounding board. The local group is getting together on the 25th. I'll check out what they all have to say. Thanks for the suggestions!
