Not sure about the water temp, but oil pressure won't bother anything, as all the oem unit is is a switch. The oil pressure switch is located behind the a/c compressor on the v6. From what I've seen and heard, it is a real pain to get to. There is another place to hook up to read oil pressure, up on the rear cyl. head, but it,s not really a good indication of actual pressure because it,s so far up from the pump. Do a search on gauges and you'll find all the info on this location (even a picture or two).
