David...

You need to make it out to Road Atlanta next year for the Ferrari Challenge. Unfortunately, this year there was another race that MOST of the other drivers were at. Ferraris from every era: vintage LM series to the latest road cars ( 456 M ).

If you download the last video, the sound of that F-50 GTI is absolutely amazing. You can tell the F-355 is going so fast and the F-50 just walks away from him. I've never heard a car sound like that.

Is it just me or is that wing tilted slightly up like an airplane? I know it is at least parallel to the ground, making it useless.

It looks like that because it's actually a functional spoiler. It's built exactly like an airplane wing... an upside down one.

As air flows around the spoiler, it speeds up as it takes a longer path to travel underneath, therefor creating a low pressure area. The air above the spoiler has a shorter distance to travel and is moving slower, thus creating a higher pressure situation than the air beneath it. The difference in pressure pushes down on the spoiler and keeps the rear end on the ground. Tilting has nothing to do with it.

I liek teh physics.

I think that F50 has a ground clearance problem
