If you know even a little about computers you may also know how dumb "some" of the techs at Dell are! :rolleyes:

Also, as with alot of techs out there, if they don't know how to fix your problem, they tell you to re-format your HD and install everything again! :p

But seriously though, it is still better than no tech help, they replaced my CD burner without any problems and they have never left me out in the cold! laugh

Some of the factory installed software was not compatible with other installed software and as a result was one of the things I left uninstalled when I reformatted the HD! wink

In my experiences, the system restore feature is NO guarantee that it will fix your problems.

As with alot of computers it is good practice to back up your info frequently and once in a while reformat your HD to install th OS clean and to remove all the hidden CRAP that cloggs up your PC!
