Man, what a night of eye openers.. So there is this girl who i have been friends with for a long time. we dated a few years back, then lost touch. well in the last 6 month, we have been spending alot of time together. and ill admit it, i was falling in love with her. she had a boy friend of like a year and a half, so i was willing to put my feelings on the shelf, she told me that it was mutual, but i didnt want to come between them. she has been having some random problems and i was pretty much the one who was there for her, and fixed everything. she would call me when she was down. and i was glad to help. then she broke up with her boyfriend, couldnt take his sh*t anymore. and i was like ok, this opens some doors, but im not gunna rush it. she was tellin me how she doesnt want a relationship and understood, and i didnt even ask her out, she was just expressing her feelings and stuff, well then i hear about a week later she is with some other guy. and i was like oh that really sucks.  thats 6 months pretty much wasted, dont get me wrong, i wasnt listening to her and being a friend just to get some, but it was in my headand a while bck we had decided to go to the pop disaster tour show (green day/ blink 182) with a bunch of friends. and we were havin fun, then she is like ill be back in a minute and i go to take a leak, an i find her makin out with this one dude that i know, not even the "new boyfriend" an i was like wow, that sucks. the worst part is that i had a lot of respect, i really thought she wasnt the type of girl who would go around and pull stuff like that. yeah that on top of a good few weeks of being depressed has really gotten me in a sad/angry/depressed mood oh well. ill get over it. i dunno just needed to vent, sorry for the long post...

*hug* im sorry you are feeling down... i haven't been in the best of moods either, but trust me, you get over people (out of sight out of mind, maybe? or you realize how jerkish they really are and it's easier to forget about em!) .. and she sounds like she doesn't deserve a good guy like you  cheer up. take care of yourself

Dude I feel for you.....I went through EXACTLY the same thing years ago back in college. I was great friends with this girl, hung out all the time, started to really fall for her. She had a boyfriend and everything, then they split up and I thought what a good time to let her know how I feel. I didn't even get a chance before she started seeing one of my friends. To top it off he treated her like crap. Not in an abusive way but just blowing her off all the time, not really into her you know. Man that was hard to deal with. I was depressed for long time. By the time they split up she already had another guy in line!!  Oh well....you get over it in time. Keep ya head up and

she's just rebounding.
let her get it out of her system and be glad she didn't use you as the rebound.
have been in this situation countless times (although was in denial while it was occuring).
when she's through, she'll be ready for a serious relationship, and you'll be there.

french has got a point, definite rebound. when somebody gets right out of a relationship and gets attached to somebody else really quick- you know the chances of it lasting are kinda slim hopefully all will go well with you!!
