Tony's right. While 4th-gen F-bodies don't have good weight distribution (like a FWD sedan does, LOL) and they seem to have a reputation for being typical "pony cars", they actually do handle better than you'd think. Their suspension geometry is quite solid (although they could use a little more rear axle travel), with a well setup rear and a short-long arm front end. Throw some good dampers on and maybe some stiffer springs (aside from the obligatory subframe connectors) and they handle very well around a road course. Not saying they?re the end-all of handling cars, but just giving some credit where it?s due.
