Does anyone know what would be the easiest way to remove the side emblems that say 24V. I am wanting to put side markers in there place, but since they are glued on, (I suppose?), I don't know how to take them off without messing the paint up. Can anyone help me out?

Use a hair dryer and fishing line. Heat up the emblems, and then slip the line behind them. Then just work the line through the emblem tape til it pops off. Then use some "Goo Gone" or the like to get rid of the residue.

Still, be safe. Do it the right way just in case.

I thought that there was mounting posts under the 24V badge?...I must be wrong...maybe I'll do the same thing.

But how do you put the A6 sidemarker lights on and wire them up?...do you have to cut into the body panel?

There is a tool for removing the adhesive residue. It is a wheel that goes in your electric drill. $14.99 from Eastwood. Part number is 73023. www.eastwoodcompany.com. I have never used it but I saw it demonstrated on Shadetree Mechanic.
