" a celebrity criminal" lol. And speed demon, there's no reason to use the term that you have; you don't see people in here calling others spiks, and niggers, etc. because it's just not warranted, and is very distasteful. you should be ashamed of yourself.
Excuse me? People who don't know the amount of good this man did for his community? Explain yourself. What kind of good did this man do? I lived in Brooklyn while this man was on top, and i had many friends that lived all through Bensonhurst and Bayridge. I don't recall much good that came out of this man. You think he would have given 2 $hits if something happened to you? Don't think so. All this man did was kill other gangsters, and not because he was trying to clean up the streets, but because they got in his way.

Go to the library, open up a book, read a bit. Don't go by what you hear from the local TE-AMO shop on the corner of Ave U and West 3rd st in Brooklyn NY. This man did nothing but traffic drugs, prostitution, guns, etc... Wow, a lot of good that does.

Get real. As i said, it's a sad thing when ANYONE dies. But this man will not be missed by many.

BTW, what did he do for you? And what do you know about him?

And giving back to the community (which I doubt he did) is always respectable when you're paying with drug & blood money....

Rumor I heard was that he was a murderer. Not true?? Can it be OK to murder if you give back to the community? OJ still has a lot of folks that love him..people love celebrities.
What does OJ have to do with John Gotti? He wasn't mob affiliated in no way.

Remember, OJ wasn't convicted of killing Nicole and Goldman.

As far as Mr. Gotti goes....this man does deserve respect for what you guys dont have...thats balls! mad [/b]
First of all; i originally brought up OJ as being innocent with sarcasm as comparison to Gotti being a hero.

Second; the reason you have balls as compared to the rest of us is because?

John Gotti is no different than the crooked politicians and lets see...Rockefellers, Duponts, Kennedy's, Bush's,.....and many more!

Mr. Gotti was just more open about his issues. laugh

Any one ever watch the HBO special "Gotti"? Check it out some time. True to the fu(king T. When you are through, let me know where you found the good in this man. John Gotti was not respected, he was feared, and there is a big difference there.

it's funny how you guys constanly mention the murder charges. You act as though he killed completely innocent people. I'm not saying in any way that murdering others is right, but the people he and his associates killed were more evil than he was; he was doing good by ridding these people from the community. And why not use his blood and drug money for the community, at least he gave back rather than people that make that kind of money and only use it for themselves. Gotti used to throw some of the best parties in the neighborhood, and it was always a good time for the kids. Everyone has a right to their opinion, mine is that I respect the man.

Although i am jealous of him about one thing, the man died with a full head of hair, and i know i will not be that lucky.

Well, it is true that excess testosterone does lead to excess violence on occasion (testosterone secreting tumors). You respect who you chose. He gets none from me.
