Josh,

I also work at night, as you well know, and for some reason when I come home I go to bed about 8:30 am and always wake up around 2:30 pm. I know it is more than four hours sleep, but I think it has something to do with sleeping during the day. I'm not sure, but I believe so.

What I've found works when I really want to sleep is I either cover my windows with dark blankets, therefore blocking out the sun, or I just lay in bed with my eyes closed when I wake up at 2:30 or so and then I sleep for several more hours.

I think it also has to do with the fact that for years we've been telling our bodies to "Wake up" when it's day light outside and so when you wake up with daylight outside, you automatically get up. I don't know man.

Hey, you busy tomorrow? Give me a call.
