No VR6 before the 95' model year. With chip, cams (256 or 260), intake, exhaust, they are in the mid 170's in both HP and TQ. They are in the low 160's to start. While that does not sound like big gains, area under the curve is much bigger.
Lots and lots of mods for them. A 2.0 w/turbo is good as well, alot lighter as well. For more info than you can sift thru go to
