shows how much you know about stereotyping. i understand that is the way of life of some african americans, but i think it's kind of sad that they want themselves to be portrayed that way. i guess that's the case with a lot of rap though. it just makes them look bad as a race in general, but i guess i support it in a way.[/b]
I know enough about stereotyping to know that it is a part of ALL genres of music whether the topic is drugs, alcohol, sex, whatever. I just don't like when people automatically assume the worst of a thing just because it seems to be or is a typical stereotype and don't take this as me getting mad or flaming because I am not I just wanted to clarify. And what is wrong with "Watermelon, Chicken, & Gritz"? I know plenty of cultures other than African American that eat these same foods :p laugh
