If I were on the jury, only sympathy for her injuries would have stopped me from diva slapping her out of the courtroom. I would also like to know where your standard of 150 degrees came from. Coffee experts recommend coffee to be served between 170 and 190 degrees, and your household coffeemaker holds brewed coffee around 170 to 180 degrees in most cases. She had no case given these facts.

I think liability must be greatly reduced back to a true "reasonable man standard," meaning what a normal, reasonably prudent person would do, not the most perfect and anal person on earth. Sandman... please don't have a heart attack, I agree with you on the concerns of liability, and thank you for suggesting change. I appreciate it, even if we disagree on many things.

On animosity, I do have an animosity towards the laws, not the police officers. I do wish however, that the police officers would also look differently towards these laws.
