Don't even mention the McDonald's coffee, you don't know the whole story on that one.

The coffee in question was well over 150 degrees
when it spilled on the woman's leg. I believe it was close to 190 degrees (that's the temperature the thermostat in your Contour's engine opens, if that gives you an idea of how hot that is).

The point of the case was that the coffee should NOT have been anywhere near that hot, and frankly, I have to agree.
