As you may or may not now, the Stanley cup finals are now on, it's the Detroit Red Wings vs. Carolina Hurricanes in a 7-game-series. And I've been a very die-hard hockey fan since the day I was born, born in Toronto, Ontario and growing up in Detroit, Michigan I've been to many leaf/wings games in my day. Just watched a devistating 1st game loss, handed to the wings by the canes. Since moving to So. Fla, I've lost the "nack" for hockey due to the overall change in atmosphere, etc. Just wondering what people think is going to happen for this series. And can someone seriously tell me who the hell these Hurricanes are? How long have they been in the league as the 'Canes, first year, right? And who were they? Jeez, very impressive game.
