i learned this fact working for rockwell for 8 yrs....got in at 19yrs old and thought i had made an excellent career decision...by the time i was 25 i knew that wasn't the case and by 28 i felt that i had outgrown being treated like a kid
and then i hit that glass ceiling and extrude honed right out the door
no job security in a big corp like i thought there would be...seems to be where its 'at' is working for yourself or working for a small or very small business...u're treated like an adult, have indepence on the job, etc....
by the way i just applied for a weekend messenger job with the local newspaper for more mod money
....i'd be delivering mail interoffice and running errands back and forth with customers (in my baby) or in they're hot raggedy company vehicle...probably a pickup since they requested knowledge of manual shift driving ability)
