Sandman, just want you to know I have nothing but respect for you. With your attitude it sounds like your town would be a good place to live and raise a family. And while I truly love the concept of the "contacts per day" system some, evil, people try to make money however they can.
Notice the rise of the traffic camera and its automated ticket generation. It seems to me that the powers that be could not get cops to write enough tickets and so prefer the automated system. No people with consciences making prudent decisions, no warm bodies to pay. Traffic cameras are truly a horrific development but I believe they are just the evolution of political greed.
