But 1 mph over the speed limit is breaking the law right? I once heard a talk show host on the radio say:
"I do 73 in my 'vette on the freeway, and any self-respecting cop will not pull me over, and if they do, I am ready to pay for the ticket"
This is with a 65mph speed limit. So, if EVERYONE was to do this and almost everyone does (majority) why dont they change the speed limit? Also, wont this cause more injuries/deaths over higher speeds? But, then again, if they raised the speed limit to lets say 75, people would do 10-15mph over it and think it would be justifiable!
